Fees and FAQs
As Clinical Care Psychology is a private practice, we unfortunately are not able to offer bulk billing to clients, but our fees are set at less than the Australian Psychological Society’s National Schedule of Recommended Fees.
Individual Therapy
A standard 50-minute session at Clinical Care Psychology is set at $200.
Medicare
As Clinical Care Psychology provides psychological treatment under the Australian Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative, you may be able to access medicare rebates set at $98.97 per session for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year. You will need to book an appointment with your GP to discuss a referral to see a psychologist under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to access this rebate.
Private Health Cover
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate from your provider. Please check with your provider before you make a claim, as the level of cover is dependent on your provider and your personal cover.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that for many reasons your appointment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled at times. To maintain fairness to other clients, we kindly ask that you give 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that we are able to offer the appointment time to someone else in need.
Our late cancellations are charged at the following fee structure:
-
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment: 50% of the full session fee
-
Cancellations on the day of your appointment or failure to attend without any notice (a “no-show”): 100% of the full session fee
Please note that cancellation fees cannot be claimed under Medicare or private health insurance.
